چکیده
Thirty-three taxa associated with Ips typographus were identified, of which fifteen species were phoretic. The most abundant species were Insectolaelaps quadrisetus (Mesostigmata), Siculobata lentonycha (Oribata), Diapterobates humeralis (Oribata), Ereynetes propescutulis (Prostigmata), Aetiopltenax ipidarius (Prostigmata), and an unidentified species of Nanacarus (Astigmata). Eight species -I. quadrisetus, Proctolaelaps fiseri, Trichouropoda polytricha, Mexecheles virginiensis, A. ipidarius, E. propescutulis, Bonomoia pini, and Boletoglyphus boletophagiand four genera Nanacarus, Elattoma, Schwiebia, and Parawinterschmidtia were new taxa in Finland. Two new species of Tarsonemus (Acari: Tarsonemidae) associated with bark beetles (Coleoptera: Scolytidae) from Crimea, Ukraine
Two new species of mites of the genus Tarsonemus Can. & Fanz., 1876: T. fraxini n. sp. and T. bistridentati n. sp. are described and illustrated based on material from instars associated with bark beetles in Ukraine. The systematic position of new species and their host relationships are briefly discussed.
متن کاملA new Paraleius species (Acari, Oribatida, Scheloribatidae) associated with bark beetles (Curculionidae, Scolytinae) in Canada
Bark beetles (Scolytinae) are hosts to a broad diversity of mites (Acari), including several genera of Oribatida (Sarcoptiformes). Of these, Paraleius (Scheloribatidae) species are the most frequently collected oribatid mites associated with bark beetles. A new species was discovered while surveying the acarofauna of bark beetles in Eastern Canada and is described as Paraleius leahaesp. n. (Ori...
متن کاملBark and ambrosia beetles (Curculionidae: Scolytinae), their phoretic mites (Acari) and associated Geosmithia species (Ascomycota: Hypocreales) from Virgilia trees in South Africa.
Bark and ambrosia beetles are ecologically and economically important phloeophagous insects that often have complex symbiotic relationships with fungi and mites. These systems are greatly understudied in Africa. In the present study we identified bark and ambrosia beetles, their phoretic mites and their main fungal associates from native Virgilia trees in the Cape Floristic Region (CFR) of Sout...

Mites of family Erythraeidae are parasites in their larval stage and predators in their post-larval stages on a variety of arthropods, among which are important pest species. During 2011-2013, in a faunistic survey of mites associated with beetles of the family Chrysomelidae in Oil and Gas company of Gachsaranregion, Iran. Specimens were preserved in AG (alcohol 75%, glyserin 5%), cleared in la...
